KARHU AEROFOAM

Karhu, Finland’s legendary running brand, is proud to launch the spring 2019 collection with a new midsole compound called AeroFoam. The proprietary material is lighter, more resistant to extreme temperature changes and more durable than traditional EVA foam. Karhu first debuted AeroFoam in fall 2018 with the release of the Ikoni Ortix, which was enthusiastically accepted by runners and specialty retailers.

Based on positive feedback of our AeroFoam midsole, we decided to integrate it across all our models to offer a better ride,” says Jordan Kinley, Karhu Running Brand Manager. The refreshed assortment consists of three distinct models: Ikoni, Fusion, and Synchron.

The advancement in fit technology and materials helps Karhu deliver better comfort and performance to runners. On top of a smoother transition with AeroFoam, the Fusion Ortix receives a new look with fresh colours. The men and women’s assortment lands featuring sublimated tonal blues on an open air mesh for a light spring feel. Likewise, the Synchron Ortix arrives with featuring the plusher AeroFoam midsole and updated colours..
